strictly limited edition of 1985 collector's sets
only!
Immortalizing legends on postage
stamps is a time-honored tradition. In keeping with this tradition we
commissioned the German Postal Service to issue exclusive collector's stamps
depicting these two inimitable motorcycles.
The two self-adhesive postage
stamps with an inscribed value of 70 cents for a standard letter show a first
generation Vmax and a VMAX II.
As an homage to the year of the original Vmax
launch, only precisely 1985 collectors' folding cards will be issued, each of
them holding one "Vmax Generation 1" and one "VMAX Generation 2" postage stamp

The
first Yamaha Vmax motorcycles were delivered to their proud owners back in 1985
and CIRCUS VMAXIMUS is celebrating the 40th anniversary of these unique muscle
bikes next year with a calendar featuring some of the most exciting models of
these species from these four decades!
The twelve monthly pages show an
equal number of exciting pictures of generations I and II: the first model
series is represented just as appropriately by one of the rare 2005 Vmax
anniversary models as by the spectacular STORMBRINGER with extra-wide 180 and
330 tires.
The collection of the VMAX bikes, which were built from 2008 to
2020, is just as wide-ranging: The “Rockafeller” by Japanese rider
Takamaso Kubono, luxuriously finished with gold-plated accents, is just as much
a part of this calendar's portfolio as the transformation of one of these power
bikes into a true metal sculpture by the Italian custom builders from Abnormal
Cycles.
